A summer holiday on the Arlberg
Conquering the region by (e-)bike one day, hiking to the Leutkircher Hütte the next and then cooling off with a jump into a mountain lake? Above all, St. Anton in summer is wonderfully varied – and tempts you into the mountains with the most beautiful destinations.
Hiking and
mountaineering
Waymarked hiking trails and well-signposted mountain tours at every level of difficulty invite you to experience nature at its best. From a family-friendly walk to the Wagner or Konstanzer hut through to the high-alpine tour up the striking Patteriol (accompanied by a mountain guide), everything is possible. In summer, too, the cable cars take you daily to the finest viewpoints, to higher starting points for hiking tours or to the mountain restaurant.
(E-)Biking
A dense network of trails for mountain bikers leads from St. Jakob and St. Anton up to the region's alpine pastures and viewpoints. With an e-bike even steeper climbs are easy to master with a little assistance – and anyone who prefers to measure their fitness against others will find the right address at the region's cycling and hiking events:
Mountain lakes
Our favourite destinations on a hike or bike tour? The mountain lakes of the region. After all, a jump into very cool water is the finest way to cool down on a hot summer's day.
Golf
St. Anton also offers an alpine 9-hole golf course right by the Nasserein cable car. Here you can prove your golfing skills against the most beautiful mountain backdrop. Proof of handicap required!
