The Arlberg ski area is the largest connected ski area in Austria and ranks among the world's top 5 as well: no wonder, since you can ski here from St. Anton via St. Christoph all the way to Zürs, Lech and on to Warth/Schröcken. The circuit that links it all? The “Run of Fame” – 85 kilometres long and, with enough strength in your thighs, doable in a single day.
More than 80 modern ski lifts and cable cars carry you through the Arlberg ski area from the valley up to the highest peaks. In between, mountain restaurants and ski huts invite you to take a break.
Giving your skis a day off? Then the cross-country trail is a perfect alternative. St. Anton offers three loipes – the Stanzertal trail, which also passes St. Jakob, the picturesque Verwall trail and the high-altitude trail in St. Christoph.
